It is with great pleasure and excitement that Pierre Alexandre, Chief Executive Officer of Orbit Drilling Inc. (“Orbit”) and Michel Mathieu, Chief Executive Officer of Garant Brothers Diamond Drilling Inc. (“Garant”) announce the combination of Orbit and Garant to form one of the largest surface and underground drilling companies in Canada. The new entity will carry on business as Orbit Garant Drilling s.e.n.c.
The combination of Orbit and Garant into Orbit Garant Drilling will provide a platform for growth and expansion. Orbit Garant Drilling has surface and underground drilling operations in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Guyana and Suriname. The new business, with a modern fleet of high-quality equipment and skilled drillers, will be in a position to satisfy all of your drilling requirements.
Orbit Garant Drilling will continue its commitment to providing the highest level of service to you and a safe work environment for its employees. Pierre Alexandre, the current CEO of Orbit and Michel Mathieu, the current CEO of Garant, will continue to be involved in the new company on a full-time basis.
