Our workplace health and safety department has the resources necessary to disseminate critical safety information, and to monitor and improve compliance with our policies.

As a reflection of the combined efforts of this department and our employees in the field, our company was honoured in 2006 by the MASHA (Mines and Aggregates Safety and Health Association) for our industry-leading performance in the prevention of workplace incidents.

Orbit Garant has also received a commendation from Gold Corp for its accident free safety record at the Porcupine Joint Venture.
